Museum of Armenian and Russian People's Friendship
In 1982, the museum of friendship between the Armenian and Russian peoples was opened. The main goal of the museum was to strengthen friendly, cultural and historical ties between the two peoples. The collection of the museum is constantly being added with new specimens, as well as the existing specimens are being restored.
More than 800 historical, ethnographic, written sources are stored in the museum funds. Photographs, maps, medals and orders are displayed. You can see household items, works of folk artists.
The museum has a permanent exhibition, but temporary exhibitions are often organized. Scientific research and educational works are carried out, lectures and meetings are organized. Scientific works, catalogs, guides, etc. are published. There are educational programs.
